Knocked Up

My mom got pregnant with me as a single, 24 year old woman in Vietnam.

Every day, I am still amazed as her resourcefulness and love as a single parent.

Every day, I am still amazed that we have conversations like these.

ME: Would you love me if I had gotten pregnant before I had gotten married?

MUM: NO WAY! I would throw you out!

ME: MOM! You weren't married when you had me!

MUM: That's me! Not you! HMPH!

ME: So you wouldn't love me anymore?

MUM: NO WAY!

Ah, thank god for unconditional parental love.
